Helping communities engage with planning

Planning Aid Wales Conference 2017

‘Community engagement in planning – making it happen’

About the conference

The emphasis on early and meaningful engagement with communities in planning has grown over the years. More recently, changes to planning in Wales have introduced new methods for greater community involvement. To maximise these opportunities new ways of thinking, communicating and working are needed.  The Planning Aid Wales conference sought answers to these questions through an interactive programme of talks and workshops designed to encourage shared learning, innovation and networking opportunities.
