Helping communities engage with planning

Planning Aid Wales – Helping communities engage with planning

Planning Aid Wales provides planning information, advice and support to individuals and communities across Wales. Our small staff team works with a Wales-wide network of planning volunteers to help make the planning system more accessible to everyone.

Our services include:

• training for Community and Town Councils, Disability and Access groups and others

• workshops to engage ‘hard to reach’ groups

• producing guidance publications on a wide range of planning issues

We also operate an advice Helpline – 02920 625 000. Open Monday to Friday between 10:00 am and 1:30 pm, the Helpline provides impartial information and advice on all types of planning issues to eligible people.

Our guidance publications can be downloaded for free from here: www.planningaidwales.org.uk/how-paw-can-help/information/publications
