Planning reforms consultation

The Welsh Government has launched a consultation on planning reforms for Wales. These reforms will lead to the first Planning Act for Wales.

There are two components to the consultation – a draft planning bill and a consultation document called ‘Positive Planning: Proposals to reform the planning system in Wales’

The documents seek to modernise the planning system and will lead to in changes to legislation, policy and guidance in Wales.

Both documents are available below and more information is available on the Welsh Government website (click here).

Comments must be submitted to the Welsh Government by 26 February 2014
